Required Documents and Application Status
Since the money will be directly deposited to the beneficiary’s bank, she must provide her Aadhar card number linked to her bank account and her ration card number during registration. If she wants to receive the money in a new bank account, she must submit her bank details and a photocopy of her passbook.
The Karnataka Government will use the direct benefit transfer mode to send the monthly assistance to the beneficiary’s bank account. You must also provide your mobile number, domicile, and category certificate. The gruha lakshmi scheme will be launched On 19th July 2024.
How to Apply for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme?
There are two ways to apply for the gruha laxmi scheme. The first one is easy. Every head woman who is also a ration card holder will receive a text message on her number linked with a ration or aadhaar card. The text message will have important details like the time, date, and venue they must visit to register for the Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme registration. Most eligible candidates from the rural part of Karnataka must visit either a bapuji seva kendra or a grama one to get their registration done. For the urban part of Karnataka, the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme registration venues will be the Bengaluru or Karnataka one centre.
The Karnataka government has employed a citizen volunteer to visit every beneficiary’s house to register them for the gruha lakshmi scheme. After the registration, the beneficiaries will receive a sanction certificate. A text message will be sent to the beneficiaries notifying them that their registration for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme has been done successfully. - Now, the application form will be displayed on your screen.
- Now you fill out the form by adding your mobile number. After that, an OTP will be sent to you.
- Confirm your mobile number by entering OTP.
- Now, choose the scheme “Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.”
- Next, you must add your name, ration card number, aadhaar card number, address, and bank information.
- Next, you must attach documents like aadhaar card, ration card, and photo.
- Once everything is completed, you need to press submit button.
- Now you have successfully applied for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.
You will be notified through text that the registration has been successful.

More than 1 crore families are expected to apply for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, so the Karnataka Government will take some time to prepare the final beneficiary list.
Previously, the Karnataka Government notified that the last date to submit the Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi online form would be 15th July 2024. Still, the last date has been extended, and now the online application starts on 19th July 2024.
