PSTET publishes information that influences how readers prepare for examinations, apply for government positions, and plan their education. The trust our readers place in us imposes ethical obligations we take seriously. This page sets out the editorial standards we hold ourselves to.
Independence
PSTET is editorially independent. We do not accept payment, gifts, or other consideration in exchange for editorial coverage. The editorial team alone makes decisions about what to publish, how to frame it, and which sources to cite, free from commercial or political pressure.
We display advertising, including Google AdSense, on our pages. We keep advertising and editorial decisions strictly separate. Advertisers do not influence our reporting, and we do not adjust the framing or visibility of articles based on what sponsors might prefer.
Accuracy
We verify factual claims against primary sources before publication. For Sarkari Naukri content, primary sources include official government websites (gov.in domains), gazette notifications, examination board press releases, and direct communications from authorized officials. We avoid relying on second-hand reporting, social media rumors, or unverified WhatsApp forwards.
When we report something we cannot independently verify, we say so plainly for example, by attributing the claim to its source and noting the limitations of the available information. We do not present rumor or speculation as fact.
Fairness and balance
We aim to give a fair representation of relevant facts and viewpoints. When an article touches on contested decisions for example, examination delays, paper leak allegations, or recruitment irregularities we present the positions of all relevant parties (the examination body, affected candidates, government authorities) whose statements are on the public record.
We do not editorialise in news articles. Opinion pieces, when published, are clearly labeled as such.
Privacy and dignity
We handle personal information about students and candidates with care. We do not publish individual roll numbers, results, or personal details unless those details are already part of the public record (for example, published topper lists released by examination boards). We do not republish private examination performance data even when leaked or shared online.
We respect the dignity of the people we cover, including unsuccessful candidates, candidates from reserved categories, and individuals with disabilities. We do not single out individuals for ridicule or use language that could perpetuate stereotypes.
Conflict of interest
Our writers and editors disclose any personal stake in the topics they cover. If a contributor has a direct relationship with an examination body, coaching institute, or recruitment agency being covered, that contributor either recuses themselves from the coverage or makes the relationship transparent in the article.
Sourcing and attribution
We attribute information to its source. When we cite an examination notification, we link to the official PDF or government portal. When we paraphrase a press release or interview, we name the source. We do not present the reporting of other publications as our own; if we draw on third-party reporting, we credit the original publisher.
Transparency
Every article on PSTET shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. Author attribution appears on each piece. Our corrections policy, fact-checking policy, and editorial policy are publicly accessible. We publish ownership and funding information on our About page.
Use of artificial intelligence
Our writers may use AI tools to assist with research, formatting, and language editing. Before publication, human editors verify final factual claims against primary sources. We do not publish AI-generated content unless a human has reviewed and fact-checked it. We do not generate fabricated quotes, statistics, or attributions using AI.
